Nitinaht Lake and Doobah Fishing Camp

The Ditidaht Development Corporation continues to explore enhanced tourism opportunities for the Nitinaht Lake area.

Key tourism features include a new entry point and Orientation Building for the West Coast Trail hikers. This allows for shorter hikes either to Port Renfrew or to Bamfield.

Water taxi services are providing hikers’ transportation to the Nitinaht Narrows while the General Store, Motel, Campgrounds and Cabins allow for comfortable overnight stays.

Ditidaht has commenced construction of its new Registration Building, welcoming all visitors to the Campsites and Cabins. Opening in May of 2025, the building will also contain a meeting room and facilities for corporate retreats while staying at the cabins.
